Patricia K. Wilde, 83 of Bedminster passed away on Monday, April 20, 2026 at The Residence at Basking Ridge.

She was born in Newark on February 17, 1943, the youngest of seven children of the  late Mondea and Antoinette Picariello Ventura.  She had resided in Mountainside, Fanwood and Somerville before moving to Bedminster in 1987.

Pat was a 1960 graduate of Dayton High School in Springfield and had attended a secretarial school.

She was employed as an administrative assistant with the Somerset County and State of New Jersey Court System attached to the Family Case Management Division in Somerville for 25 years retiring in 2011.  She was previously employed by Lockheed Electronics in North Plainfield as a secretary.

Pat was a longtime, active communicant of St. Elizabeth and St. Brigid Parish Community in Far Hills and Peapack where she was a member of the Daughters of Mary.  She enjoyed activities with the church, following her grandsons’ sports and activities, and the love of her family.

She was predeceased by her daughter, Kimberly D. Wilde, who died June 17, 2021; and by five siblings, Mary Landiere, Dot Cioffi, Richard Ventura, Robert Ventura and Anna Ventura.

Patricia is survived by her son, Brian P. Wilde and his wife, Laura, and her two grandsons, Jack and Gavin Wilde, all of Bedminster; a sister, Ruth Ventura of Whiting; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

A funeral mass will be held at St. Brigid Church, 129 Main Street, Peapack on Friday, April 24 at 11:00am.  Relatives and friends may visit at Layton Funeral Home, 475 Main Street, Bedminster on Thursday from 3-5 and 7-9pm.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St.Elizabeth/St. Brigid Parish, P.O. Box 33, Peapack, NJ  07977.
