Kimberly D. Wilde, 46, of Bedminster passed away on Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at her home.

She was born in Somerville on April 15, 1975, a daughter of Patricia Ventura Wilde and the late George J. Wilde, Jr.  She had lived in Somerville before moving to Bedminster in 1987.

Kimberly was a 1998 graduate of Monmouth University receiving bachelor’s degrees in art and psychology.

Kimberly was a teacher’s aide employed at Midland School in North Branch for 10 years.  She was also involved in programming of extra curricular activities for both children and adults at Midland School.  She was previously the special education coordinator for the Somerset Hills YMCA in Basking Ridge for 18 years.

She was a communicant of St. Elizabeth Church in Far Hills and St. Brigid Church in Peapack.

Kimberly loved art in all its mediums including painting and ceramics.  She also adopted and raised many cats over the years.

She is predeceased by her father, George J. Wilde, Jr. who died in 1987.

Kimberly is survived by her mother, Patricia K. Wilde of Bedminster; her brother, Brian P. Wilde and his wife, Laura, of Bedminster; two nephews, Jack M. and Gavin J. Wilde; an aunt, Ruth Ventura of Whiting; and an uncle, William Wilde and his wife, Linda, of Bridgewater.

Funeral gathering at Layton Funeral Home, 475 Main Street, Bedminster on Monday, November 22 at 10:15am followed by a mass at St. Elizabeth Church, Far Hills at 11:00am.  Relatives and friends may visit at the funeral home on Sunday from 1-3 and 5-7pm.  In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be  made to Tomorrows Children’s Fund, 30 Prospect Avenue, Hackensack, NJ  07601.
