Elizabeth S. Penn, 86, of Mendham passed away peacefully on Friday, May 3, 2024 at the Holly Manor Center in Mendham.

She was born in St. Petersburg, FL on June 11, 1937, one of twins to Jerome and Anne Martin Penn.  She grew up in Chester and had lived in Far Hills and Morristown.  She was a resident of Heritage Manor Senior Living in Mendham for 12 years before entering Holly Manor Center 7 years ago.

Elizabeth attended Chester Elementary School and graduated from Roxbury High School.

Liz was a domestic worker employed by Mrs. Jane Unckles of Morristown for 20 years before retiring.

She was a communicant of Our Lady of Perpetual Help RC Church in Bernardsville and a member of AARP.

Miss Penn is predeceased by her mother, Anne Martin Penn in 1957 and by her father, Jerome S. Penn in 1962; and is survived by her twin sister, Mary S. Penn of Chester Township.

A funeral mass will be held at Our Lady of Perpetual Help RC Church, 111 Claremont Road, Bernardsville on Wednesday, May 8 at 10:00am.  Interment will follow at Walnut Grove Cemetery, Randolph Township.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Mendham First Aid Squad or Mendham Fire Department.  Arrangements are by Layton Funeral Home, 475 Main Street, Bedminster.
