David M. Mulhern, 54, of Bedminster passed away on Saturday, March 19, 2022 at his home.
He was born in Syracuse, NY on June 18, 1967 a son of Karen Birney Mulhern and Raymond M. Mulhern. He grew up in Kenilworth and had lived in Charlotte, NC for 15 years. He was a resident of Orlando, Florida before moving to Bedminster one and a half years ago.
Dave was a graduate of ECPI in Charlotte, NC receiving an associate’s degree in computer science.
He was an IT computer consultant for Highmark, Inc. for the past 5 months and had previously worked as a computer consultant for numerous IT organizations.
Dave was a humble, kind man with a good heart. He enjoyed watching Nascar and football on the weekends. Dave’s hobbies included building computers, going on drives to nowhere, tinkering on cars and grilling.
Dave always knew how to make his friends and family laugh. He was willing to offer a supportive ear and cheerful words of encouragement when needed. He will be incredibly missed by everyone he knew.
He is survived by two daughters, Danielle Marie Mulhern of Aurora, CO and Nichole Lynn Mulhern of Roanoke, VA; his mother, Karen P. Mulhern of Bedminster; his father and step-mother, Raymond M. and Maryanne M. Mulhern of Davidson, NC; his sister and her fiance, Jackie Mulhern and Daniel Solazzi of Warren; a nephew, Joseph T. Mulhern of New Brunswick; and three aunts, Joanne M. Wood of Charlotte, NC, Susan L. Bright of Mays Landing, NJ and Melinda Jane Moore of California.
Relatives and friends may visit and pay their respects at Layton Funeral Home, 475 Main Street, Bedminster on Friday, March 25 from 10:00am to 12:00pm. A funeral service will follow at the funeral home at 12:00pm. Interment will take place at the Bedminster Reformed Church Cemetery in Bedminster. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Liver Foundation at www.liverfoundation.org.
