Betty T. Fennimore, 80, of the Pottersville section of Bedminster Township passed away on Sunday, November 24, 2024 at Holly Manor Center in Mendham.

She was born in Morristown on September 27, 1944, a daughter of the late William and Florence Frank Teisher.  She had been a lifelong resident of Pottersville.

Betty was a graduate of Bernards High School in Bernardsville where she was a baton twirler having twirled fire.  She was a graduate of Beaver College receiving a degree in sociology.

Mrs. Fennimore was a bank teller employed by Valley National Bank in Landing retiring in 2017.  She previously worked at AM Best in Oldwick during the 1990s.

She was a former Girl Scout leader for Troop No. 111 in Bedminster; volunteered at the Bedminster Township Elementary School Library; and was active as a BHS Band parent.  Betty was a member of the Pottersville Reformed Church.

She was predeceased by her husband, John Fennimore, who died December 18, 2013; and by a sister, Gail Wilson, who died in 2010.

Betty is survived by her daughter, Lisa D. Fennimore and her fiance, Nate Wright, of Proctor, VT; three grandchildren, Jax Fennimore, Bowen Wright and Bailley Wright; a brother, William Teisher of Pottersville; several nieces and nephews; and four step-children, Britt, Christopher, Michael and Paul.

A visitation will be held at the Layton Funeral Home, 475 Main Street, Bedminster  on Friday, January 3, 2025 from 2:00pm to 3:00pm.  A memorial service will follow at 3:00pm at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Childrens’ Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN  38105 or at stjude.org.
