Deborah B. Drury

Deborah B. Drury, 72, of Bedminster passed away on Monday, January 20, 2025 at her home.

She was born in Morristown on December 8, 1952, a daughter of the late Nancy Wiff Drury and Peter A. Drury III.  She had been a resident of Bedminster for most of her life having lived in New York City for a period of 10 years.

Deborah was a self-employed caregiver for family and friends.  She performed her care responsibilities with a loving and gentle heart and happy outlook; and was beloved by those she cared for.

Deborah had a love for antiques and interior decorating.  She enjoyed gardening and loved opera.  She volunteered for the New York Junior League at one time which advances women’s leadership roles within the community.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by three brothers; Peter A. Drury IV, Sean W. Drury and Kevin V. Drury.

Deborah is survived by her sister, Margaret S. Drury of Bedminster; two brothers, Robert B. Drury of Tucson, AZ and Brean O. Drury of Bedminster; a niece, Natasha Sokol of San Francisco, CA; and a nephew, Christopher Kirby of Cold Spring Harbor, NY.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.  In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the National Spine Health Foundation, 11800 Sunrise Valley Drive, Suite 330, Reston, VA  20191.  Arrangements are by Layton Funeral Home, 475 Main Street, Bedminster.
