Barbara A. Loke

Barbara A. Loke, 88, of Waterford, CT formerly of Far Hills, NJ passed away on Wednesday, August 30, 2023 at Atria Crossroads Place in Waterford, CT.

She was born in Boston, MA on November 7, 1934, a daughter of the late John Henry and Marian Moore Sloan.  She was longtime resident of Far Hills before moving to Bluffton, SC for 11 years and Milton, MA for 6 years before moving to Waterford, CT one and half years ago.

Barbara was the Director of Volunteer Services at Lyons Veterans Administration Medical Center in Bernards Township for 30 years retiring in 1994.

Mrs. Loke is predeceased by her beloved husband, Joseph D. Loke who passed away on January 24, 1991; and by a brother, John Sloan in 2019 and by a sister, Ervel Sloan in 2023.

She is survived by nieces and nephews.

A private entombment was held at Somerset Hills Memorial Park in Basking Ridge on Thursday, September 14, 2023.
