Philomena A. DeSantis

Philomena A. “Phyllis” DeSantis, 94, of Branchburg passed away on Sunday, December 4, 2022 at her home.

She was born in Liberty Corner on August 4, 1928, one of nine children to Luigi and Concetta Rispoli Milito.  She had been a resident of Branchburg for the past 45 years.

Phyllis was a laboratory technician employed by Bell Laboratories in Murray Hill for many years before retiring.  This is where she met her husband, Donald R. DeSantis, who died November 27, 2016.

She is survived by one brother, John Milito of Basking Ridge; two sisters, Jacqueline DeMarco of Bernardsville and Connie LaRue of Bridgewater; and by several nieces and nephews.

An inurnment ceremony will take place at Somerset Hills Memorial Park, 95 Mount Airy Road, Basking Ridge on Wednesday, December 28 at 11:00am.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Childrens’ Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN  38105.
