Albert Tosi, 94, of Old Bridge passed away on Saturday, July 12, 2025 at Preferred Care at Old Bridge in Old Bridge Township.

He was born in Morristown on August 10, 1930, a son of the late Thomas and Catrina Balsamello Tosi.  He grew up in Bernardsville and had lived in Spotswood for many years before moving to Old Bridge in 2022.

He attended Bernards High School in Bernardsville.

Albert was a US Marine Corps veteran of the Korean War having attained the rank of corporal serving from 1947 to 1951.

Mr. Tosi was a salesman for most of his working career having been employed by Dun & Bradstreet.  Perhaps his most favored position was working as an admissions counselor employed by Dover Business School in Dover visiting with families and potential students in their homes.

Albert maintained a positive attitude and enjoyed talking to people.  He enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephews taking them to the movies, shopping at the mall, and going for car rides in the country.  He was generous at Christmastime providing gifts for them when times were tough.  Over the years, he enjoyed the company of three cats, Domino, Frosty and Frisky.

He is predeceased by four brothers, John Tosi, George Tosi, Arthur Tosi and Carlo Tosi.

Albert is survived by a sister, Yolanda (Jane) Tosi of Old Bridge; a brother, Alfred Tosi of Tampa, FL; and several nieces and nephews.

A service with military honors and burial will be held at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 350 Provinceline Road, Arneytown, NJ on Monday, July 28, 2025 at 12:30pm.  Arrangements are by Layton Funeral Home, 475 Main Street, Bedminster.
